Our Clients at Purple Wine and Spirits had a vision for a Cabernet Sauvignon called Stond which would source its grapes from the Columbia Valley, specifically the Wahluke Slope – also known as “the watering place”. This region is extremely dry and unforgivably windy which require the grape roots to burrow deep in search of water and nutrients, ultimately leading to a rich, succulent wine with layers of complexity.
